Information about

Trauma

Trauma isn’t always a single, obvious event—it can include chronic pressure, emotionally charged experiences in sport or work, injury, abuse, or moments that overwhelmed your capacity to cope at the time. You might notice it showing up as heightened anxiety, difficulty trusting yourself or others, intrusive thoughts, physical tension, or a sense that your body is no longer responding the way it used to under pressure. For high performers, trauma often interferes with consistency, confidence, and the ability to stay present. In therapy, you may be looking for a way to understand these responses without feeling “broken,” and to regain a sense of control and trust in both your mind and body. My work focuses on helping you process these experiences while restoring stability, resilience, and performance capacity.
