Individual Therapy Services:
Currently, all individual therapy sessions are being held virtually. Individual sessions are typically 45-50 minutes in length once a week. We will work together to determine frequency of sessions and come up with a treatment plan to ensure we are working towards what you want to get out of sessions. Typical topics for individual therapy may include but not be limited to:
- Grief/loss (e.g., death and dying, coping with injury)
- Transitions (e.g., high school to college, sport to retirement)
- Eating disorders/disordered eating
- Body image concerns
- Issues in sport/career (e.g., performance, confidence, relationships)
- Identity concerns (e.g., sexual orientation, gender identity, intersectionality, etc.)
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Relationship concerns (e.g., family, romantic, coaches/teammates)
- Adjustment difficulties (e.g., new roles, major life changes)
- Self-Injury
- Coping with uncertainty
- Assertiveness skills
- Trauma
- Identity work
- Coping with social injustices
